1941 FORD DELUXE COUPE

Complete frame off rotisserie nut and bolt restoration painted in the original maroon color. Original car was very complete with little to no rust repair. All glass, chrome, dash components, motor, transmission, axle are original to the vehicle. Flawless paint, interior, dash, undercarriage. Runs and drives fine just completed 43 mile trip. 6 volt electrical system. Restoration was professionally supervised and completed over a 5 year period. Vehicle belonged to a friend of my fathers and sat in their barn for over 30 years prior to restoration. Offers considered. No Trades. The 1941 Ford Deluxe is a unique vehicle and significant history involves this vehicle and World War II as well as the unionization of Ford Motor Company. The Ford car was thoroughly updated in 1941, in preparation for a time of unpredictability surrounding World War II. The 1941 design would continue in an aborted 1942 model year and would be restarted in 1946 and produced until 1948 when the more modern 1949 Fords were ready. Production of the 1941 models was disrupted by a sudden labor strike in April 1941; Henry Ford, having resisted unionization well after the rest of the American automobile industry accepted it, finally gave in and signed a contract with the UAW. I can provide video of it running if needed. Restoration completed in 2017 and has been in a temperature/humidity controlled garage and fully covered until just recently. Includes full cover and what appears to be the original key. Over 85K invested in the restoration. Priced according to Haggerty Valuation Guide.
