This car was in the same family for many years, sitting under a lean to. It is now sitting outside in dry Western South Dakota, so the tan primer that I put on it awhile ago is flaking off.
What a great car to build your way. This Ford has very solid floors, (the floorboards still have the factory paint on them). I can not get the the trunk lid to open.
Also has a very decent body, with minor dents and dings, and some cracks in the sheet metal, that would be easy to fix, as you can see in these photos. Needs a grille. Has correct original seats, need to be reupholstered. Glass needs to be replaced, missing rear window, it is all flat glass. We buy a lot of Glass from Classic Auto Glass in Isanti, MN. They are a good company to deal with. And, they have other parts for sale IE: gas tanks, etc.
The engine is the popular Flathead V8, and transmission is original 3 speed. Engine is stuck. SOME TIMES, YOU CAN DUMP RISLONE Oil Conditioner IN THE ENGINE AND GET IT UN-STUCK. This is the correct V8 Engine for this car. All the running gear is original.
