We have a rare 1949 Oldsmobile Futuramic 76 Convertible that just came out of a large collection and has always been stored in a temperature- controlled environment where it was on a lift when not in use. In 1949, Oldsmobile produced a limited number of the 76 Futuramic convertibles. Specifically, there were 5,338 of these convertibles built on the 76 line and very few remain today. The original motor has been replaced by a 403ci Oldsmobile motor. The 403ci is backed by a 4-speed automatic transmission with an aftermarket cooling pan and posi rear axle. This Olds is equipped with power steering, power front disc brakes, power black cloth convertible top, Vintage Air a/c that blows cold, dual exhaust, aftermarket radio, BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires, and a parade boot for the convertible top. The interior is in good condition and shows very well. The seats, carpet, door panels, and kick panels are all in good condition. The black convertible cloth top is in good condition inside and out with no rips, holes, or creases. The exterior is in good condition with no issues or areas of concern. The black paint is an 8/10 and the body lines and gaps are all good and show well. All the sheet metal is original and in good condition. The electrical system has no issues, and everything works as should including lights, gauges, turn signals, wipers, etc. The power top works flawlessly.
