Description:
This 1967 Pontiac GTO hardtop coupe was refurbished under previous ownership and is powered by a 400ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. The car is refinished in red over Parchment vinyl and equipped with power-assisted front disc brakes, power steering, 14 Rally II wheels with chrome trim rings, a Hurst shifter, power windows, and an aftermarket stereo.
Interior:
The cabin houses front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in Parchment vinyl, and interior appointments include a Hurst shifter, power windows, seatbelts, a full-length center console, an aftermarket AM/FM radio, and a locking glovebox. The air conditioner does not work. The wood-rimmed steering wheel fronts a 120-mph speedometer and a fuel-level gauge as well as warning lights for the battery, oil pressure, and temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 32k miles.
Exterior:
The car was finished at the factory in Silverglaze (P), and it was refinished in red under previous ownership. Features include stacked headlights, a hood scoop, dual side mirrors, GTO badging, and chrome trim on the grille, bumpers, window surrounds, and rocker panels. Paint imperfections are discussed in the video below.
Drivetrain:
The 400ci V8 is equipped with a two-barrel carburetor and was rated at 255 horsepower and 397 lb-ft of torque. The spark plugs were replaced under current ownership. Power is routed to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission. A Flowmaster exhaust system is fitted. Rally II 14 wheels feature chrome trim rings and are mounted with BFGoodrich Silvertown Radial tires measuring 225/70. The car is equipped with power steering and a stabilizer bar, and stopping is provided by power-assisted front disc and rear drum brakes.
