We will start off with the exterior of this '58. It has one of the best fits and finishes of any Chevrolet that we have ever owned. Down the sides are laser straight and it has a phenomenal fit of all the panels. All the gaps are even in symmetrical with both the doors hood and trunk opening and closing with ease. We can see that the glass in this Impala is stunning as well and the side glass has an excellent fit. This Impala is showcased in the tropical turquoise and white 2 tone paint scheme. At the time of the restoration, it was redone and base coat clear coat, and countless hours have been spent wet sanding, buffing, and polishing it out to a mirror finish. One of the most iconic things about a 58 is all the Chrome and stainless that it offers, and this one doesn't disappoint as every single piece is either new or in like new condition. From the grill and bumpers to the rocker molding inside molding this 58 is breathtaking. To finish off the stance it's sitting on factory style steel wheels with new hubcaps and a set of wide white tires.
Next, we will look at the interior of this Impala. On the inside it's just as impressive as the exterior as it's done in the factory style color combo that flows perfectly with the exterior. Both door panels are beautiful and look to be new along with the trim and handles. New carpet, seal plates, headliner, and visors were installed at the time of the restoration and are still beautiful. This 58 comes with the front and rear bench seats with split backs in the front and were all restored with new padding and covers along with new seat belts. Looking at the dash we can see that the metal is just as impressive as the exterior and has been painted to match. All the gauges are working as they should, and all the trim is beautiful. This 58 has a factory style steering wheel that's painted to match. Inside the trunk is all rock solid and has a beautiful detail. It has the correct style trunk mat, spare, and jack.
Finally, we will get to the heartbeat of this Chevrolet. Under the hood the detail is just impressive as the rest of the vehicle. The inner fenders and firewall are all rock solid and have a beautiful finish. The power comes from the 348 V8 engine that's set up with the factory style intake and Rochester 4 Barrel Carb. Its dressed in factory valve covers that are painted Chevy Orange along with having the factory style air cleaner. To keep it cool it has the Harrison Radiator and Mechanical Fan. This '58 does come equipped with the factory style Power Steering. For brakes it has drums on all four corners, and for exhaust it has manifolds with dual pipes and stock style mufflers. The 348 V8 is mated to the two speed Powerglide Transmission that goes out back to the stock style rear end. When we look under this Impala you are sure to be impressed as all the floors pans and floor braces are rock solid and in excellent condition. The frame is also solid with no signs of abuse. It has had a new gas tank installed and all the front end was rebuilt at the time of the restoration. If you are in the market for a high quality '58 Impala then you don't want to miss this one!
