The engine is backed by an automatic transmission with overdrive, giving the truck the convenience of modern highway cruising. The chassis is equipped with power steering and power brakes, while a 9-bolt rear end completes the drivetrain. The truck also features a hydraulic brake cylinder mounted to the passenger side of the frame. According to the owner, the truck is built on a Pete and Jakes chassis, although there is no documentation available to verify this.
