Family owned more than 30 years and restored once in their care. Recently given a mechanical and cosmetic refresh, including concours detailing of the engine bay and suspension. Kept in a private collection and driven sparingly for show since the update.
EXTERIOR
Quad headlights, waterfall grille, hood pins, and the N96 Air Grabber. It was not factory-optioned with the dust trail or hood stripe. The look is a sleeper: white trunk stripe, Road Runner birds on the fenders, and the Hemi callout on the cowl. That is all that advertises what is under the hood.
INTERIOR
Excellent condition with no visible flaws. Black buckets and console, Hurst pistol-grip, full gauges including the Tic-Toc-Tach, and the Road Runner horn button in the woodgrain wheel. Everything works.
ENGINE BAY
Oil-pan rail VIN stamp and final assembly stamp confirmed original by Frank Badalson. The original engine, K-member, and front suspension were pulled, gone through, and finished to current concours standard by OE Gold Award winner Steve Bean. Block painted Hemi Orange to factory appearance; pan casting runs left as original. Bay cleaned and corrected to show standard.
CHASSIS
No frame or floor-pan rust. Factory J55 undercoating present. K-frame removed, prepped, and painted with spindles, lower control arms, strut rods, drag link, and sway bar. Steering linkage replaced (inner/outer tie rods, adjuster sleeves, idler arm). Bushings replaced; torsion bars cleaned and repainted with new dust boots and clips. Original rotors resurfaced; pads, caliper hardware, and wheel bearings replaced. Parking-brake cables replaced and mechanism repaired. Fasteners and small brackets bead-blasted and replated. Driveshaft removed, balanced, and rebuilt with new U-joints. Rear axle housing inspected and serviced. New shocks front and rear. Exhaust replaced manifolds-to-tips with correct hangers, mounts, and clamps.
