A total of 16,663 coupes rolled out of the plant and only 3,409 of those were dressed in the Dark Red Metallic from GM. New for the 1989 model year were 17" wheels, which are now are wrapped by Pirelli SuperSports for sure grip.
The C4 Corvette is powered by a 5.7-liter Tuned Port Injection V8 that pumps out a healthy 240 horsepower as it's paired to the effortless 4-speed automatic. A G92 rear differential and 2.59:1 axle ratio helps get you up to speed and cruise down the highway.
The super clean interior shows just how advanced the 1989 Corvettes were. Bump the key and watch the timeless digital gauges appear. With its "uphill" design, this cluster looks as good as when it left the factory!
