CONDITION
This 1970 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Pro Street is a real Z28 finished in Yellow with a Black interior. It is powered by a blown 355 c. i. small block V8 paired with a Turbo 350 automatic transmission with a TCI 3500 stall converter. The motor was freshened in 2017, and the block is completely studded with head studs and main bearings. The cylinder heads were done at the same time. The B&M 420 Mega Blower was installed in 1992, and the car has had approximately 40,000 to 50,000 miles put on it since then while still making 12 pounds of boost.
The engine build includes a Scat 4340 forged crankshaft, forged pistons, Patriot aluminum heads, a Comp Cams nitrous/blower HP camshaft, dual 750 Holley mechanical carburetors, and a full 3" exhaust system with QTP electric cutouts. The transmission has been upgraded with hardened sprags and a deep pan, and the rear end received new bearings and a new ring and pinion last fall. Wilwood front disc brakes have also been fitted.
This Camaro has always been garaged and retains its stock-style body structure without being cut up. It runs cool and is streetable. In the last 10 years, it has only been driven approximately 2,000 to 3,000 miles for local cruises and occasional car shows. It presents well overall, includes a large collection of original parts, and comes with the original gearbox.
