1929 Packard 633 Standard 8 Runabout. Eye catching original and restored features, including sidemounted dual spare tires, wide whitewall Firestone bias tires with red wheels and pinstriping, and exquisite chrome and brightwork from the bumpers to the ornate radiator surround. The car's paint job is a striking two-tone red, reminiscent of Packard's original Mountain Splash Scarlet color, with a well-maintained finish free from major blemishes. The interior has been reupholstered in a maroon/burgundy leather that matches the rumble seat, complemented by an original looking dash and beautiful carpeting. The car's engine, an inline 8-cylinder (approximately 319 cubic inches), was rebuilt by a renowned Packard engine builder between 2016 and 2018. It runs quietly and smoothly, with incognito LED-converted lights and a functional fuel shut-off valve designed to preserve fuel prime when not in use. The vehicle is not just a showpiece but also a reliable driver, suitable for both concours shows and casual drives. The convertible top and mechanism is in excellent condition, featuring a camel-colored fabric with wood adorned bows and a glass rear window. There is an electric fuel pump for easier runnability, and push-button start, to the left side of the dash. Featuring a center headlight that turns when you steer the wheel, and storage for golf clubs with a locking door on wither side of the vehicle giving access. On the road the car's smooth handling, very nice clutch feel and shifting, responsive steering, and luxurious solid feel are evident. A car that drives as good as it looks.
