This is one outstanding-looking 1932 Ford 5-Window Coupe BeBops Glassworks body street rod. The purple color alone screams Look At Me. Add that in with stunning chromed-out Ridler wheels, the visible chrome frame supports, the flush chrome grille, and shiny headlight bezels, and this vehicle becomes a legend at car shows and cruises. The undercarriage looks amazing done up in purple and chrome-so super clean as if no one has ever driven it. The rear end shows more purple and chrome visible underbody suspension parts, and the body itself finishes out in the rear, smooth and elegantly.
The interior is black with leather bucket Glide seats and door panels. There's a shifter on the floor for slamming gears, an easy-to-grip custom steering wheel, and a tilt IDIDIT steering column. To the left is a set of AutoMeter gauges, below that are VintageAir climate controls, and below that sits a Kenwood head unit with AM/FM/CD/Aux and Bluetooth. It's tough to find any flaws here-even the trunk is large and lined with clean carpeting.
The engine bay is another standout area of this street rod. The engine is painted purple, the aluminum valve covers feature purple stripes, and there's a chrome alternator and intake-just a lot of sharp-looking parts. A Quick Fuel carburetor adds to the upgrades, along with a Walker aluminum radiator and electric fan. Power comes from a 350 stroked out to a 383 cubic-inch V8, paired with a Muncie M20 4-speed manual transmission, sending power to a 9-inch Ford rear axle with 3.73 gears.
Up front, the suspension features Pete & Jake shocks, while the rear uses QA1 double-adjustable coil-overs. 17-inch Ridler wheels sit up front, with 20-inch Ridlers in the rear. They're wrapped in 225/45ZR17 front tires and 275/45ZR20 rears. Wilwood disc brakes at all four corners bring this street rod to a stop with ease. For exhaust, powder-coated shorty headers flow into dual pipes with Flowmaster mufflers for that small block pop'in exhaust note.
