1965 CHEVROLET CORVETTE PRO TOUR CONVERTIBLE

1965 Corvette Convertible. I sold this car 6 years ago to a good friend it was a 2 owner car that sat in a private collection. It was totally original matching numbers on all drive train and all parts. The 327 has been rebuilt 60 over, original Powerglide car now with a built Turbo 350, power steering, power brakes all new, 1 top, original wheels with radial tires come with it. The car has 17 inch Coy polished wheels on it that are the correct size and do not touch. One of 3,300 in Glen Green, no cracks in the body or paint no cracks in the dash, the door jams are like they came from the factory, no over spray, all bonding strips in place, a no hit car, original spare tire tub with the original spare tire in place, the floors have never been undercoated they are bare fiberglass a no messed with car, new u-joints. I'm sure I missed something but everything is new now here is the story. My friend wanted a better driver so he took all body mounts and bushing and replaced them with NOS, then did all the suspension in NOS parts, replaced the exhaust with 2 1/2 powder coated exhaust, all S/S brake calipers, braided brake lines, replaced the fuel tank and sender, aluminum radiator, he took the engine apart and did a inspection and a top end build with aluminum heads hydraulic roller cam, new intake and carb, electronic ignition, aluminum valve covers, SS headers, new hoses and belts, new fuel pump, everything in the engine compartment and under the car is brand new with less than 200 miles. Every original part was saved to put back on the car if desired, yes everything. Over $20,000 spent in parts alone with out labor, there would be another $20,000 in labor. The transmission was replaced with a rebuilt Turbo 350 with original shifter and shift kit, all original gauges work. He added a remote temp gauge for safety he did not trust the gauge in the dash. The headlights work perfectly, all gauged and lights, signals work perfect. The interior is adorn with that is excellent radio that works, 97,000 original mile Arizona title, no over-heating. It has a second cooling radiator located under drivers floor which helps cooling by 20 degrees lower. There are a few paint flaws but nothing that is major (see the photos). There is a small crack in the dash hardly noticeable, no door panel bubbling that was common on them, original clips on door panels, most have screws added when changer this one has no screw holes, drive this car anywhere. He had over $90,000 in this car when finished, the original wheels and hub caps come with the car as well as all the parts taken off the car so when you buy it bring a big trailer! The title in hand and Arizona is a no tax state to a private buyer save at least 8%. I can arrange shipping for the car buy not the parts, there are to many. All receipts go with the car, note the seller is and was a Pro Mod car owner and it was done right!
