1967 PLYMOUTH GTX

1967 PLTMOUTH GTX– Powered by a 440 CI Super Commando V8 equipped with a Carter four-barrel carburetor. Restored about 15 years ago. Factory rated at an impressive 375 horsepower and 480 lb-ft of torque. This is a true factory 440 engine, although it is not numbers-matching. Engine upgrades include an Edelbrock Torker 440 intake manifold, billet distributor, Taylor spark plug wires, and an aftermarket MSD starter. Power is also sent through a heavy-duty A727 TorqueFlite 3-speed automatic with dual exhaust. Factory exterior equipment includes a blacked-out grille, dual simulated hood scoops, chrome pop-open "Pit Stop" fuel cap, GTX badging, and dual black stripes on the top and the side. Rides on Cragar wheels with 215/70R15 front tires and 235/70R15 rear tires. Interior features include front bucket seats, a center console, newer seat covers, new carpeting, courtesy lights, a padded dashboard, a deluxe steering wheel, an AM/FM radio with a rear speaker, aftermarket Sport-Comp gauges for RPM, water temperature, and oil pressure (all functional), and brand-new GTX floor mats. Additional factory equipment includes heavy-duty suspension and heavy-duty brakes. NOTE: A new battery was installed as of May 2026, and the odometer reads 12,368 miles. TURN KEY EXAMPLE…RUNS LIKE A BEAST AND DRIVES LIKE A DREAM.
