Our 70 th birthday party with In-N-Out Burger hosted by Overhaulins Chris Jacobs is coming up, and its looking to be the biggest car show in SoCal with 1,500 cars already registered, not including all of the cover and feature cars expected to attend! If youve been an avid reader of HOT ROD magazine you will certainly recognize cars seen in its pages in years past. Youll also get a chance to see test-and-tune drag racing on Pomonas iconic drag strip while eating delicious In-N-Out burgers from one of the ten cookout trucks. In addition to the open session of racing announced by the NHRAs one and only Brian Lohnes, iconic drivers racing nostalgia nitro Funny Cars and front-engine dragsters will make some passes. California Hot Rod Reunions winner Jason Rupert will pilot his nostalgia Funny Car and NHRA Nostalgia Series champion Mendy Fry will also be running. If youre walking around the show keep, an eye out for Mike Brewer and Ant Anstead of Wheeler Dealers wholl both be filming a segment for an upcoming episode.
