1990 CHEVROLET SS 454 PICKUP C1500

1990 Chevy 454 SS Pick Up This is a 6 owner truck, that was recently purchased as part of a small collection unload and the buyer really only wanted one of the cars. Battery, oil change, plugs and wires have been done along with a detail to prep for sale. The last owner had the truck painted in it's original black and opted to paint the wheels in black and tint the windows for the slightly more image fitting, sinister look. Herculiner bed lining protects the bed along with a rubber bed pad, in case you want to actually use this as the truck it is. The 454 of that year produced 230 HP and 385 lb ft of torque, enough to easily break the tires free and propel the truck to 60MPH in under 8 seconds. This one has been fit with headers and a new exhaust by the previous owner along with rear traction bars, new shocks, operational Cowl Induction hood, chrome engine dress up pkg and smoked light covers. A set of aluminum Corvette wheels will come with the truck. The truck has 124,000 miles and does show some of those miles and the fact that the previous owners used her as a truck but it doesn't look beat on. There is some minor wear on the interior and a couple of small scratches in the paint, there is a small peel on the roofline. It does look the part of a beefy, big block, black truck. From the factory, Fort Wayne, IN., this truck came equipped with all the SS options: Electric locks, power windows, rear sliding glass, Sport Equipment and Sport Performance packages, Body molding (which was removed by previous owner for repaint), AC (blowing cool, not cold), courtesy lamps, 14 bolt, 5 lug rear stuffed with 3.73 gears and limited slip, power ABS brakes (disc F-drum R), oil and trans coolers, comfort package, Sport chassis, sway bars, HD radiator replaced with an aluminum unit, 100 amp alternator and a 4 speaker, AM/FM/Cass stereo w/equalizer. The truck starts up and runs very strong, although occasionally the starter sticks and there is a light header tick. The truck drives very well, brakes work great and the power is all there, very easily lighting up the rear tires, even while moving. The TH400 AT shifts as it should. The BFG Radial T/As in back and the Mickey Thompson Street SS tires in front will need to be replaced at some point in the not so distant future. Whether you're looking for a cool cruiser to take to the local cars and coffee or a truck to use to haul stuff, this truck will fit your bill. Currently new trucks, with too many bells and whistles, are selling in the $50,000-$80,000+ range. This truck, which is in my opinion, a lot cooler than those, has an asking price of only $23,500. Any questions, for many more photos and videos, to schedule a time to view the truck in person, or to make an offer, please don't hesitate to contact me. Thank you for the interest.

AutaBuy sold this car to a buyer in Tennessee.
