Marengo, Illinois (January 23, 2008) – Mecum will host its first collector car auction of the year
in Kissimmee, Florida January 24-26 at Osceola Heritage Park outside Orlando. While car
collectors and enthusiasts the world over have been focused on the many recent auctions held
in Scottsdale, Arizona, CEO Dana Mecum comments, “Early consignments of quality vehicles
indicate there are excellent cars east of the Mississippi River in January”.
Mecum continues to live up to its powerful reputation for specializing in strong Corvette and
Muscle car sales by offering 800 outstanding cars in Kissimmee including an impressive lot of
125 Corvettes. Two exceptional collections will be offered at no reserve on Friday, January 25.
Registered bidders and consignors are traveling from all over the United States as well as Europe, Asia and Canada.
The Mecum Kissimmee sale is among the top sales in the state of Florida. It’s the second largest
Corvette auction in the country. “We have held successful auctions at Heritage Park for many
