That was the statement from engine builder Steve Morris on the way to Virginia Motorsports Park for the final day of Drag Week. Baileys 1969 Camaro has been slowly lowering e.t.s all week, with several runs in the low 6s. After a hard tire-shaking first round on Friday, Bailey came back around to run a 6.07 after stepping to the left and slightly out of the groove. We went to the pits after the run and Steve Morris told us that they were going for the glory before we even asked.
