Hennessey dropped in a 5.0-liter Ford V-8 delivering750 hp, allowing the SUV to reach 60 mph in a claimed 4.5 seconds. Power is routed through Fords 10-speed automatic transmission. New fuel injectors, air-to-water intercooler, and performance intake and exhaust systems make up some of the key upgrades. The improvements continue with an upgraded off-road suspension and beefy off-road tires. A hood scoop, along with the custom livery and unique front grille, provide extra flavor. Hennessey didnt forget about the interior, where youll find special touches including embroidered headrests and serial numbered plaques. The Hennessey Bronco will be available in two-door and four-door configurations. But youll want to hurry, because Hennessey is only making 24 copies in total for the 2021 model year with a standard three-year/36,000-mile limited warranty. So whats the price? Hennessey is asking a significant amount: $225,000, but at least that includes the cost of the donor Bronco, which starts from $29,995 . If you dont get your hands on one of these models, theres still plenty of off-road fun to be had. We figure a potential Bronco Raptor would make at least 350 hp, perhaps 400 hp. The regular Bronco packs a standard 2.3-liter turbo-four with 270 hp and 310 lb-ft of torque, or an available 2.7-liter twin-turbo V-6 with 310 hp and 400 lb-ft.
