Car Week 2020 Isn't CanceledIt's Going Virtual Thanks to the Petersen Automotive Museum

There's nothing quite like standing on the freshly cut and sharply manicured grass at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance .It's one of the most exclusive, prestigious, and frankly, expensive displays of automotive enthusiasm in the world. The famous car show happens on the lawn of the beautiful Pebble Beach Golf Links' 18th hole and attracts stars and cars from around the world, and puts a cap on a wonderful week of similarly jaw-dropping events held all over California's Monterey Peninsula. If you're not entirely familiar with what the Concours d'Elegance is, check out the video below for a look back at 2019's show. The event, the scenery, and the cars are all stupendous, but sadly there won't be a Pebble Beach Car Week in 2020. We're going to miss it. But even though we won't be in Monterey, we don't have to miss out on all the action and fantastic automobiles that Car Week typically brings with it. This year, the Petersen Automotive Museum is going to bring you an experience that's just as diverse and entertainingif simply not as tangibleas the real thing. This year, the Petersen Car Museum is bringing you a fully digital car week of its own. --> Just like in any other year, there are going to be auctions from RM Sotheby's and Bonhams, and other planned events include insider looks at incredible collections and in-depth examinations of new cars from Koenigsegg and Gordon Murray Automotive. Not only that, but eight new cars from brands like BMW and Ford and customization houses like Gunther Werks will be shown for the very first time. The only difference is, in 2020, you'll get to enjoy everything from the comfort and safety of your couch, porch, or office chairor wherever you like. Everything from Petersen Car Week 2020 will air on the Petersen's YouTube channel , and you can find a full schedule of all the events on the Petersen website at this link. Even though we wish we could celebrate Pebble Beach Car Week and stroll the lawn of the Concours d'Elegance, the Petersen no doubt will keep us satisfied until we can make it back to Monterey.
