1966 CHEVROLET CORVETTE 427CI/425HP

1966 marked a slight appearance change for the Stingray Corvette. The front nose of the car was changed slightly with a revised eggcrate grill replacing the horizontal bars of the '65 model. A Corvette emblem was added to the hood's corner and overall the car retained the rear and interior appearance of its predecessor. The old saying of don't fix it if it ain't broke rang true as '66 marked another record sales year for Corvette. This '66 Corvette coupe is a striking car in every way. Powered by a 427ci/425hp V8 mated to a 4-speed transmission, there is no doubt when this car is fired up that it is ready to roll. The biggest baddest block available in '66, the 427/425 was likely highly underrated for horsepower as that was the practice by General Motors in the mid sixties. Outfitted with a 4.11 posi-traction rear end, power brakes and power steering, this car is an absolute joy to drive. Undoubtedly, the standout feature of this Corvette is the side-exhaust. Once you turn the key there is no doubt that the signature growl of this car is that of only a mid-60's Corvette. Around the exterior, the car is covered in Nassau Blue that pops against the chrome bumpers. The interior matches the exterior in corresponding bright blue vinyl. Throughout this car it is evident that it was restored and maintained to a high-standard. This car is an ideal example that can be both driven, enjoyed and shown. Unless stated otherwise, mileage on odometer is exempt and unknown if original. --...

1965 CADILLAC CALAIS 2 DOOR HARDTOP

1965 Cadillac Calais 2 door hardtop (coupe). This is truly an original survivor in every meaning of the word; absolutely 100% everything original with the exception of a newer battery. Tires, if not original, are much older. Only 34,615 actual , true original miles. Beautiful black paint (with very minor imperfections and/or wear due to age) and gorgeous, near perfect, black and white interior with tons of brilliant chrome all around. 429 CI V8 engine mated to a Hydra-Matic automatic transmission. Motor starts effortlessly and just purrs; transmission shifts smoothly and quietly. Car runs and drives in absolute Cadillac style; a premium and highly enjoyable experience. Power everything, everything works: Automatic dimming headlights, power steering, power brakes, power windows including vent windows, power door locks, multi-way power seats, power antenna, high power radio (with extra station selectors), 3 speed automatic wipers, remote outside mirror and more. Not AC optioned - available on Calais models not selected. Factory seat belts, factory original T-3 headlights, factory floor mats with Cadillac logo AND the very rare "Soft Ray" tinted glass factory option. This amazing automobile is a 100% original survivor, not a restored car. It has been safeguarded for the last 50 plus years in discriminating collections and displayed at times in a well known automotive/transportation historical museum as well. As a passing note, most anyone is (or should be) fully aware that it would cost well over 100K to 125K - if not substantially more at today's costs - to restore another car to this amazing original condition (and, although restored, it would no longer be an original). Please check all the photographs to truly appreciate this fine and stylish collector example. This beautiful automobile is reliable in every way: All lights, gauges, even the clock work without any issues whatsoever. All mechanicals are to factory specifications and perform effortlessly and everything on the car simply looks fantastic . Truly, a must see to believe and appreciate. Original keys with original leather dealer key ring. More than an absolute touch of class from nearly sixty years ago, this classic and highly collectable automobile presents nearly just as new and truly offers the class and style that the Cadillac brand is/was renowned for.
